Yes you can earn from your blog, first decide what you want to write on your blog, you must select a niche. Go with the google blogger platform which is easy for newbies. I started learning through blogger platform and now I am able to write for wordpress blogs too. Creating blogger blog is very easy, go to your gmail account and search for blogger.com and then open an account there, once you click on the blogger you will be asked step by step question and just read and fill out that and you can start writing for your blog.

I think wordpress is best for blogs rather than blogger, but both are user friendlies. The main thing is not the platform, its what your want to write articles about, do you have specific niche or idea?
