I am not using this, and I also think it is not that helpful, you may get a few hits, but nothing more. It is may be good for blogs though.

However, I haven't used this feature, I see the clicks are increasing. It should help a bit and point is your content should attract the visitors.

I agree with Fowler, the random link has already been clicked over 800 times are there are only eight links in the rotation. That means on average each link has had over 100 clicks. Plus all those links will be there for some time to come and will hence receive a lot more traffic over time.

Well, no one has lost visitors from an extra link. :P

ForumCoin is viewed highly, and displaying your site on it, will only make your site's reputation better. I would say you should go for it. ;)

I've never used this form of advertisement before but I personally don't click on them just in case of any malicious link as you don't know what you're clicking on. I'd much rather go into the websites forum and click on the links that interest me and you're more likely to get me as a member through a post than a random link.

I am contemplating spending some FC and getting my blog on the cycle. Does anyone who has a random link going know how many visitors they have gotten?

I agree that the random links will get some traffic, but I wonder how many of the clicks would be relevant to the user? It has been said here that each link will get at-least 100 clicks but I do not think that even 2 will be relevant, of-course there is some profit for this for the website because may be I need to check these kind of websites in future and I come back to those websites as I will remember them, but this is also very rare case. It is not easy to remember a website name after visiting only one time.

I have just added my site to this, it has its pro's and con's.

Pro's: clicks brings members and increase guest counts
Con's: not many will convert to actual members and mainly it will be bad for the bounce rate as people won't stick around or may not even look at the site before leaving.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. In relation to numbers, you can see the number of links in the rotation and the total number of clicks the link has had, by looking at the stats right next to the link. The current figures are: "Total Clicks: 8861 • Total Links: 13". Hence, links added do receive lots of real visitors to their sites.

The charge is only 40 ForumCoin Collin, so it is great value, you can read more here. The price may increase in the future, so the sooner you use the service the cheaper it will be :)
