I'd recommend starting a site in an area that interests you and where you have some knowledge. Does anything come to mind for you? Is there a type of site that would solve a problem you have, is there a type of site that you wish existed?

The niche you are interested may determine the type of website that can make you money. From experience, DIYS and Reviews to me are the best. But other niches have proven paying beyond what you can imagine. Also your experience matters.
