Do websites without SSL certificates lose customer trust?

Postby kat82 » 04 Oct 2025, 12:05

That small padlock symbol matters. Many online shoppers now check for it before entering their card details. It shows that the website is protected and their data is safe. Without it, people may lose trust and leave the page. Security builds confidence, and confidence drives sales. In today’s online world, trust is the first step to any purchase. Do you think buyers avoid non-secure sites?

Online shoppers these days look at security before making a purchase. The lock symbol instills confidence that their information is safe.

Websites without SSL are seen as risky, even if the product is good. Many customers leave without even investigating further. Trust is the foundation of sales.

SSL is not signal for trusted website since it is easy and free to get it. Almost all domain providers give it free for a year or more so find site without SSL is total amateur move.
