think of a great niche that you know, you're really good at and you can share good topics with your viewers. The first step is always the most important and if you nailed in this one, your blog is going to be awesome.

I started with some content, pluggins and a couple banner/ads. I mostly just wrote content and promoted though. Not much has changed on my blog as far as looks go, I keep it simple.

First of all you need to make your blog look attractive.I personally prefer clean and simple websites over websites that have many animations,ads,etc... Then you need to make a strategy where you will share your blog and how you will get visitors to your blog. Make sure to have great content otherwise people are going to skip your website/blog.

so firts you have to post topics which are important then try to put some pluing and banners which lead to raise your visitors
also put it in social networks

Do you have a niche for writing? You should choose some themes that you like...

Since your blog will be managed mostly by you, make sure you can commit time to keep it updated on a regular basis. You should love or be genuinely interested in the niche you chose so that you have more to write about. You do not just write random stuff on your blog.
