Yes they get many visitors everday.Apple is a manufacturer,Adobe are software developers and the other websites have .gov domain which means they get visited everyday.

Yeah, and both Apple and Adobe are companies outside the internet, which describes why they are ranked #1 and #2. As conclusion, we can say that you also have to be succeed offline.

I'm not surprised with apple since the iPhones have phenomenal popularity. But Adobe? Is that due to Adobe Photoshop and the PDF files? But wait, is that list only within the US or all over world?

I do think they have a lot of visits due to the errors in the adobe software or sometimes due to updates. They also have tutorials there on how to use their software or even short cuts. I think Adobe is popular in their own way and they even ported their software to IOS.

ROFL, It's quite impossible. Unless you know someone working on IT there and ask the person to sneak up an OBL to your website. You could get your website cited on an article if you are relevant enough, which would already be awesome. But a single homepage link would make your page literally climb to the top for your major keywords, specially if it's a .gov domain.
