Postby reyleigh29 » 14 Jul 2015, 00:08

Hacking is very rampant in the internet nowadays. There are many sites being hacked now and then and it is very alarming especially for those sites that contains very confidential information. What are your security measures in deploying websites?

Escaping all incoming inputs from the users. All users cannot be trusted since you don't know and you dont see what they are doing on your website or application. You can also maintain and change your codes once in a while.

Personally I dont care much about this. If someone good in hacking wants to hack my site, he would do it anyway.

Yeah, me too. Any kind of security can be hacked, if he wants and he knows how to do it, he'll hack it anyway, so I don't care so much about that.

Our office website is using the Symantec. It was employed by the host provider who also happens to be the designer of our web pages. My home computer is also guarded by Symantec.
