Which is easier to maintain, forums or blogs? I guess if you're a writer, blogs are a lot easier especially if you are passionate about the topic that you put in your blog. What are your thoughts on this?

According to me blog is easier to maintain because in forums you maintain varios uf topics/sections etc..

Offcourse blogs because its just you that can post "topics" there, on forum users make their own topics and you need to be carefull about everything to keep all in rules

Blog is easier to maintain mainly because it's not as complex as a forum. A single person can look on a blog but forums are being kept by multiple persons since it has many functionalities unlike blogs that has limited uses.

I agree with you.Forums have many sections that need to be maintained and on blogs there aren't many.

Yeah a blog is very easy to maintain. A forum will only be easy if lets say 30 below users. Above that, you might need some help on maintaining the forum like cleaning, removing inappropriate content, banning people, etc.

Blog is much more easier to maintain than Forum... on Forum you have to daily remove content, move threads to the right place...

It depends. I you have more apetence to administrate a forum or to write on your blog! Sometimes it's harder to mantain a blog because you need to write more content than on your own orum xD

Hmm, what a good question - forum or blog. I am the admin of our office website which also has a forum and I find it easier because there are mods who help me. With my personal blog, I have failed to update it for more than a year already. So I guess the blog is more difficult to handle.

Blogger is easy to maintain but, a blog can also have forum, if you see some of the big sites like tutorials, they do have blog as well forum, both are equally managed.

for me, blog is easier to maintain because you can generate ideas on the theme of your blog while on forum, there are tons of topics to make.

Maybe if I am well-versed with the use of forum software and every technical aspect of it then I will choose forum over a blog. A forum is a collaboration and not all contents must originate from the owner. A blog is mostly managed by the owner from content creation, tech aspect and bugs, down to marketing activities

Blog is easier to manage. You only post and wait for your visitors to explore your written articles. Although I don't have experience in making a forum, I've seen how tough it is to keep guard the low quality comments or posts in the thread.

A blog is hard to manage and maintain. With a blog,you can take like forever to publish articles whereas a forum only takes a few hour to publish up to 100 post.It is easier also to earn with a forum than a blog.
