Hello, just a random question, sorry if I posted something intruding or wrong, if so please tell me. HTTPS stands for Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure. It is commonly found on many electronic banking and website's processing sensitive data for the purpose of security. Do you use it on your site? I did not use it on my site because my site does not have a log-in or account feature. Do you think it is needed on your site?
it's not needed at all . It will just cost you money for the licence but you won't need it . like you mentionned it's usefull for websites that contain valuable data that can be victims of an attack.
If I say about me, I do not need it at all. But it depends on you. If you think your site might get hacked you should use https . Normally a site doesn't need one
If I had a website with a log in feature and meanwhile the website is really big then I would consider using HTTPS because on that way I would protect everyone thats using my website.
Our office website is still running on the original platform of http. I disapproved the shift to a secured access because some users (like my home computer) couldn't access a secured site.
I have never bothered using it.I do not see any reason in doing so.All the website i have registered before,i have never given it a consideration at all.It seems Hyper Text Transfer Protocol might be expensive in a way to enable it in your website.
Yea, I am using https for my site. This helps visitors to know their details are secure even though my site doesn't require much personal info than email for commenters.
Most web hosting now days includes it for free and if you link to your site for advertisiing a lot of advertising sources demand it. Even my little one page websites have https: and mobile responsive as a given.
