Namecheap/ Name.com and Goddady. You'll want to keep in mind renewal price, how many people use the register and how easy it is to push the domain to someone else. Namecheap doesn't have super cheap coupon codes but they offer a fair price. Verisign charges a base price to registers for .com domains: I believe it's $7.85. Therefore the register loses money if they charge less than that.

I will suggest you to search emoneyspace.com forum for offer with low price. I have found a guy there who give me my desired .com domain for 2$ in past from godaddy. Search for the thread like there.

there are good sites like godaddy, namecheap etc., which offer with very low prices. Sometimes godaddy will be offering coupon too, avail that coupons for better price.

According to me godaddy is the best place for you to buy domains because they are really cheap and you can add coupon codes for extra discount.

I second this. They provide cheap price compare to those to offers a dollar site but expires fast. I believe there are also sites that offers free domain sites such as freenom. you can check them out.
