Reddits policy on comments at times is wierd to me. I don't really know what is supposed and not supposed to be done. You comment and they flag you. Oh that is why I even failed to get traffic from Reddit.

I am not on Reddit. I am not aware of their rules and regulations. But I have heard that they are quick with banning. So, play safe. If it is okay to put the link on social media platforms, you can do that to get more viewership.

I think you can but only in paid campaigns. If you don't have money, then you must be attractive.
