Reddit karma actually cannot be created but can be received when you contribute to the community and receive thumbs ups. For example, when a person upvotes you in a comment in reddit, you get a comment karma. I am not sure about Link Karma and if I am wrong on comment karma please correct me. You're welcome, although the best way to earn karma is actually in thencomments on the site. Which is not knowing or not caring about reddit karma, besides that, subreddits such as FreeKarma is prohibited for usage and may result in a ban.

When you comment/post and get up votes (likes) you will get reddit karma. But to get up votes you need to post/comment good stuff.

Be careful about sharing content from your blog/ site on Reddit. Share too much and you or your site will be banned. If it just seems like your promoting your own stuff, Reddit members will downvote you. Build up Karma on Reddit before sharing your own stuff.
