There is an adsense revenue sharing plugin around for Mybb. It might take a bit of time to get it working with the current version of the software but it could be an awesome thing to have on a promotion forum.

There is also a mod called Forum Affiliates, than can be used effectively too.

While you are looking for plugins, you should try to find a good theme as well. The appearance of the forum is really important. Check out the mybb mod section and see if there's anything that could improve the appearance of your forum.

I'd suggest the following:

Required (in my opinion)
Google SEO
My Advertisements
NewPoints

Optional (great uses with this)
OUGC Awards

Those 4 plugins, in my opinion, are what should be added as default. The Google SEO plugin is self explanatory and requires a few edits to core files. Or you can install the patches plugin which allows you to edit the core files with a click of a button and reverse those actions when you want. The My Advertisements plugin is great for AdSense or other advertisements. NewPoints plugin will be good for letting members complete exchanges, buy services etc.

I added in the OUGC Awards plugin as I feel it is a great way to rewards members, and you can give them awards straight from the ACP.
