I have a flag counter in my tumblr before. I find it cool to see where your visitors are from. I thought it was not for real but I am seeing statistics every time I visit. I had to remove it though because my blog can only accommodate one feature.

I had a counter on my page it was similar it showed what country visitors were from and what page they visited and what page they left on. my site didn't have a lot of traffic but I was surprised at the different countries that I would sometimes get.

The Sitemeter that I installed in my blogsite have different designs to choose from but there is no flag. I think that is a good idea, having a flag to signify your nationality.

it's really cool that I've seen in several sites, a globe spinning with all countries that have already accessed the site, this is very interesting

I used to have that on my website but it's like a world counter. There will be red blinking dots on the globe and you will be able to see who's online and where that person from the globe is. I don't know what's the purpose of this but I often see it on blogs.

Its available on different sites where they give you an embedded code to use it on your website or blog. I think it is very useful especially you can use it without any skills in HTML or Javascript. And the flag is actually not to signify your nationality but to let you know how many people from "that" region visits your blog or website, correct me if I am wrong.

That flag counter is good. Information on demographics can help your business. Having some information on where your visitors are coming from can help you adapt your marketing efforts. Similar to how major fast food chains adapt to the country they are doing business in.
