I added a new roleplaying section to my forum.

Sort of new to this, so any tips on how to run/operate it would be helpful.

You are right bro, But i believe we shouldn't be so much hurry to keep support as it can also stop its growing potential.

What is that roleplaying means? I haven't heard about it in any forum I go through. Sorry if I am too nerd not to know what It mean but it is true.

There are a lot of people who engage in role play on Tumblr. They belong to multiple different fandoms. If you wanted to advertise your forum, I'd start on tumblr.

Make sure you add subcategories to organize it. However, I can not really help you because I don't know how active your forum is.

Something that most RP forums have is a training section, normal section and advanced section. Forum staffes have to decide if they shall promote a member from training section to normal section etc. but make sure your forum is active enough for this. General RP subcategory and Other RP subcategory is recommended.

If you intend to keep that section a strictly in character area, you'll want to set down some specific rules or guidelines, so that people know what to expect. Be sure to point out the sections where they can post OOC. I think I'd create a sub forum for (OOC) questions.

I never saw a forum of that kind. I think it is an innovative concept to try. Just ensure you have an off topic section also so that most of garbage go to that section and it will help you to keep your forum clean.
