No they don't. They only charge a little bit more than regular domain price if you want own .com domain for that blog. I suggest you to try WordPress rather than blogger.

well blogger is must be good but if you have adsense please keep in mind
1. Use .com .net or any paid domain 2. Use hosting for your website. After a limited time you may lose your blog site because of hosting so you can try this or use wordpress!

I agree, blogger is free on its own and can be considered quite customizable if you want. Some sites offer domain names for free but requires you to purchase a hosting plan, and some offer it for very cheap. It's best to check on multiple sites before deciding to purchase domain names too.

No they are not. You can have a domain like "www.mcliffi.com" or whatever and still be hosted on blogger anyway. Just add a domain in the blogger settings.

I didn't know you can buy a domain for blogger. I always thought once you join their site, you won't be able to upgrade your blog into a full working site in comparison to wordpress. I believe blogger is free to use but you don't own the site, Google does in comparison to wordpress.

Blogger was originally a paid service and Google acquired blogger and made it into a free service. Blogger does not charge anything. Earnings low is not related to your Blogger account. It is because of traffic and ad clicks. What ads do you run on your blog?

There are no "hidden" fees. Since you aren't paying for anything in the first place, it would be impossible for them to include hidden fees. They cannot just access your bank account or Paypal or anything like that, so you can rest assured that you will be made aware of any charges that could come up (such as if you decide to upgrade).
