The PR has finally been updated.

Many users feared that Google would get rid of PageRank. There was pretty much a thread about the end of page rank on every webmaster forum. It definitely took longer than usual. I wonder when the next update is going to be? Hopefully, this won't be the last update.

No, Google doesn't show any partiality, itself is given a pagerank of 9 even though its their own service.

PR1 is easy to get that is not something very impressive, I have seen a forum getting direct PR3 from NA and i was surprised to see this.
