I have been with hostgator for about 3 years, and so far I am pretty please with their services. I think their customer is pretty good. When I have some issues, I would be able to get them pretty fast and they have been very helpful

Well as much as I know the best web hosting company is hostgator. Well I dunno how much it is true. But there was quite a lot of positive review's about this site.

I use Holderhost (ran by @sam) and have had no problems what so ever. I have a VPS with them that is very fast, reliable and I know they look after their customers so I know if I have a problem, they will do their best to help. I have learnt that quite often the better hosts are not the big named hosts that treat you like a number... the smaller hosts usually go the extra mile to help and usually you get to deal more with the "higher up" staff such as the owners. Big hosts don't care if the lose a few hundred customers... a small host will usually try hard to stop even 1 user leaving by helping as much as they can to solve any issues.

Web hosting companies would be many but i have heard about more Go daddy, as you mentioned above. To be honest i have no personal experience with any web hosting
