I found this site with a lot of links and tips for web developers and website owners. it has a lot of information for a novice website owner and not so novice ones

I looked at it and it does have a lot of information but i like something like this http://www.w3schools.com/
You can practice there. It is not just information but you can actually test if you learned something or not.
I like that kind of learning, with practice.
I will use this site if i am looking for something specific, like how to show IP and location.

The site you mentioned sounds like my kind of site. If you can actually put into practice the skills and tools they teach you then that is a good way to learn. Nothing beats hands on experience.

This site is very good. It has more than 7000 resources for webmasters.

But I would recomment to search another websites and forums.

I love W3schools and have both used and recommended it for many years. They may not be the only one out there, but they are top dog in my book.
