You can read the ForumCoin Forum Rules & Guidelines here, perhaps they would be a useful starting point to give you ideas of what you need to cover for your own forum. I'm sure I haven't thought of everything, so will also keep an eye on this thread, to see if there is anything we need to add.

You can read few forums rules and get different ides and when you think of a new idea you can add it later.

I advise you to do general topics and then add rules for each topic.
The advice they gave you above are good, especially the one you go read the rules of other forums. Then just adequares the rules that you find at your forum ... :)

Enter other Forums and take ideas from there. there are general rules for every Forum, but you may also want to creat more specific rules :)

Yes I agree with Mr. Fergal you can check ForumCoin's rules and can make it as your guide although I guess by now you are already done with it.

Do what fergal said but dont use only FC. Look at other forums as well. Copy, paste is almost allways the best solution. Saves time and brainpower

you have to read the rules, terms and conditions, its there in the site itself at the right side bottom of the site and also read faq, that is enough and these are very simple rules and genuine one.

I agree, on most forum there are a set of rules that you can view without joining the site. The most of them are included in Fergal's answer. But just in case you need some random guidelines:

1. Do you want your forum to have quality or quantity posts?
2. Do you want your forum to have a crowd of the same people or all different people?
3. What is your forum's main objective?
4. Is there a reward option for user's?
5. Can user's be unbanned if they do something very wrong or wrong?
6. What punishment will be given to offending user's?

I think these could help a bit.

I also think that there should be a time frame and participation that you should have under your belt before you can start to post referrals.
