I want to show you pictures from 1970s Iran, and you can see how happy the women are. Picture number one is an Iranian woman with her boyfriend. Women are allowed to have boyfriends back then, but now they'll be arranged married to a man they don't know, or worse, to an uncle, or worse, they will get arranged as a little girl to some disgusting old man. Women back then have freedom to have education and ride bicycles and wear the clothes that they wanted. And the Iranian Congress and Senate have a lot of women in the parliament, as in almost half of the government are women. And back then, Iran looked like Europe. The economy was actually doing well, but somehow someone made up, someone made propaganda that the royal family are corrupt and that they need to have the Ayatollah as a leader. And the weird thing is, it's actually the leftists and the liberals who fought to remove the royal family and crown the Ayatollah. But the moment the Ayatollah became the leader of Iran, he killed the liberals because they have no more use for him anymore.That is when the regime started removing the rights of the women.



Men and women were equal, that you can see them as classmates in university. Now, they segregated the men and the women in schools because of their so-called morality.

It's been a sad state of affairs for Iranian women for decades. The ongoing war is going to create a global energy crisis with so many innocent lives lost. The least I hope and pray from this devastating war is for Iran to get a democratically elected liberal government. Right now, that agenda seems to be lost.

Actually, there is hope because majority of the elder members of the regime are already killed. But the problem is they got replaced by younger members. All they need to do right now is to get rid of every single member of the regime, and women can finally have their rights again.

Wow, beautiful women! I've always found Persian women beautiful. It's just sad to see their light being dimmed, and for what?! Just to wield power over them?? Anyway, more women are getting brave in Iran, even though the regime is still around. Less and less women are wearing hijabs, enjoying the focus while the regime is not focusing on them.

I'm not there. But me personally, I would have figured out how to escape. If I were a mother, I'd try to take my daughter(s) with me. In the USA, slaves figured out how to escape from their masters. There were some Iranians who left right at the beginning of the Revolution in 1979. Some of them live here in America. They saw the handwriting on the wall and RAN! I'm not going to stay in a hellhole and try to fix it! Yeah, I might get killed trying to escape. But I'd try to escape anyway!
