China has abolished 12,000 undergraduate studies since 2021. A smart nation preparing for an AI future. The abolished studies mainly relate to administration, human resource management, logistics, communication, photography, animation, marketing, journalism, hospitality, etc. Everything that AI will do better in a few years or is already doing better than humans.

Should other countries follow China's example?

Education isn't just to make money, it is also knowledge. I think courses that are only aimed at making money but aren't relevant today, should be abolished, however, courses that might not make money but are good for human knowledge and experience should be retained.

I don't think you can compare full graduates studies and courses. Courses is much easy to stop and remove from offers than studies.

This is why change is the constant thing in nature. We need to follow the time and evolve where we should to meet up with trends.

I can agree with administration. AI can do basic math operation much faster. But I would not like remove communication and photography study. People already have problems with talk, it is more like chat - short words, no sentence or time. With photograhy people will lose personal knowledge since photography is not like math with strict rules.
