It was yet another normal day for me as there was no outing or any special program. I am watching first one day international in between India and England being played at Pune, India.

I worked for the most part of my Sunday. I wrote about five 500-word articles in total. I spent a couple of hours playing Polytopia with my son and my nephew. That was the best part of my day. I was also here on ForumCoin and got one task on Spare5. We'll have dinner soon and then I will prepare my teaching materials for tomorrow. Hmf. Monday.

I am hoping today will be a good day. I am up early because I have an appointment with my career counsellor at 11am this morning. From there I need to go to the bank and cash my $10 SurveyLion check. It has been sitting in a pile of papers since December so I really got to get on that. I am going to spend the day in my hometown as well. Visit my mom and such.

Did an assignment in SAS. Literally the most annoying statistical analysis software ever. I'm surprised anyone uses it. It claims to be great for "non-programmers" but learning something like R or Python would be much easier than learning procedures and data manipulation in SAS. I was stuck for 10 minutes trying to import data... it kept throwing up a silly error in the log file. Eventually I found out why: I'd split the screen (i.e. lowered the resolution) and SAS couldn't handle resizing the last output window box.

I am really tired today no idea why. We got a small toaster oven which I am pumped for. I am making some cheesy garlic bread in it for an afternoon snack with tea :). Today I will do what I always do. Research, try and make some money and apply to jobs.

Today, I discussed figures of speech in two classes. We also had an activity on those classes - they have to write lines from the song where each figure of speech was used. Then, I thought pre-writing strategies in two classes. Then, we had a staff meeting. When I came home, I attended an online meeting with other guild officers in our alliance because we will attack during the castle siege tomorrow. I don't have any writing assignments when I checked so I came here to ForumCoin and I am doing some tasks on Spare5 at the moment. :)

My big thing today was to clean but my WoW account is about to expire so I was farming in game gold to try and get a token lol. I didn't want to use real money as I need to be very frugal with this last paycheck from my offline job. I can always clean tomorrow though it's not like the dishes are going to get up and walk away lol. Other then that I was making our food list and getting coupons ready. And now I am just trying to earn a bit online.

happy Friday everyone

Postby liveonline » 20 Jan 2017, 21:26

How did you spend your day? I spent mine online & watching the change of hands
in office Trump & Obama most the day, what I wasn't watching I was listening to
cause I'm ALSO working on recording my C D's from you tube which I enjoy too.

As long as I've been on a computer I never took the time to do that cause I didn't
know I could do that, but I was watching a video & watched how to do it I thought
COOL beans so I stayed up ALL NIGHT the 19th into the 20th & recorded 3 c d's.

My eyes are about to kill me cause their tired, but I needed to get some online
time in before I crash & burn for the next 4-6 hrs so I can work late tonight
where I don't get interrupted or side tracked till I get a set of 10 c d's done.

I hope you all have a great Friday as I have, take care & we'll chat once again

I don't have cable so I can't keep up with world events as easy as I use too. But I do sometimes buy the newspaper and I do use local news websites to see what is going on. What are these CD's. Is it music you made? Or are you getting music off Youtube? Sorry I got a bit confused reading that for a second is all.

Oh wow sounds like you need some sleep. I am tired as well and am suppose to see my parents tomorrow and aunt. Since she is coming too I figured I better go. Tomorrow's trip will be my last for a bit though. As I am trying hard to budget and not spend to much on fuel. Happy Friday to you and it sounds like you had a nice productive day.

Today I am in a very good mood. I have put a deposit down on a car I have been looking at for a while, a Suzuki Jimny. I've had one before and always regretted selling it so I'm really excited :D

Good for you, sprite1950 :) I wish I could get my hands on a little runaround because I'm sick to the back teeth of public transport here LOL

I spent the whole day working on my blog, and making new blog entries for the week. I've designated Saturday or Sunday (whichever works out best for us in any given week) as my 'publishing deadline' LOL

Hey Sprite1950 congrats on the downpayment on your car! Oddly I still miss selling my first Buick. The darn thing was hard on gas but it was a really good car. However I have a Chev Colbalt now and it is quickly becoming my favorite. :)

Yesterday I was visiting my parents again. My aunt was there so I made the trip to see her since we talked on the phone Sunday prior. It is always nice to see everyone. My mom even randomly made a turkey dinner! All the fixings and blueberry cake and sauce for dessert. It was a nice visit. Today I am focusing on online work and Niume I hope. I also have to get ready for my interview tomorrow though and study the site I applied too as well.

@Judy, I hope you enjoy the break :)

I'm almost nodding off at my desk because I got home about an hour ago i.e 11am. This week I'm on the dreaded shift at work, 0330-1000 hours shift and it's a killer. It forces me to go to bed early (around 10pm), but because I'm more accustomed to going to bed around 12-1.30 am, I really struggle to sleep. It's only Monday, and I'm already feeling knackered. This shift is just HORRIBLE.

We discussed stage play jargon in Grade 9 English, discussed an essay describing Mother Nature and the learners created Venn Diagrams showing the similarities and differences of Mother Nature and a mother in grade 10 English, and did freewriting in Grade 11 English. Then, we had a high school faculty meeting to discuss our needs since the funds will be released soon, the first tranche, at least. Then, we went to the resort and discussed some business plans. I went to my mother's to take pictures of dresses and kids' clothes to put on sale at our store's Facebook page. Then we went home and I had a writing assignment about minors in jail with adults. When I finished the article, we had dinner. Then, I came here to catch up the posts since I wasn't able to go here for a couple of days. It was kind of a busy day. :)

Today is an exciting day. My interview with an online company is 17 minutes from now so I will be leaving ForumCoin while I do that as I don't want any distractions. I am sure they will be checking my typing speed, responses and grammar even. I hope it works out as nothing offline has called me for an interview which is worrying. But oh well. Other than that I will be online probably all day writing and working away.
