I'd a busy and productive day at work, then this evening had some shopping to do. Feeling quite busy and a little rushed now, so will try to get an early night and be ready and fresh for work in the morning :)

Thanks for your reply kaka135, what languages do you work in? Sounds like you had a good rest today, hope you are feeling less tired now.

I usually write in C sharp, as this is the most familiar language to me.
I hope I won't always feel tired, but it might be caused of pregnancy, so it's unavoidable.

I spent some time to work online, work on my freelance project (at least got something done), did a homeschooling lesson with my son, crocheted some eggs for Easter, did some cleaning, and spent time with children. Well, it was just an usual day to me, but at least there were something done in the day.

Hope I'll be more productive in the new day!

I am sure she will recover very soon. My best wishes for early recovery

I use C# as part of my work in automated testing using Ranorex. I try to build on my knowledge of it every day.

I have not heard about Ranorex, that sounds interesting. I am going to check it out. It's always good to keep learning every day. I wish to learn about PHP (for building Wordpress websites), Andriod app development and also set up eCommerce website. I have no idea how to do these yet, but there are clients asking for these. It seems like these are the trends now.

I had a good day, as I finally managed to figure out how to do something in my web development project, though it was a simple thing, I just couldn't find out how to do. So now I am working on another module, hopefully I can complete this within a few days, excluding testing. I did some cleaning and tidying-up, told a story about keeping the house clean to my children, hope they will get the idea.

If I don't have any freelance projects to do, then I won't be so busy, just mainly spend time with my children, and preparing the homeschooling lessons. But sometimes it's good also to have some projects to work on. ;)

--- 26 Mar 2016, 07:34 ---

It was a good day for me. I managed to complete quite a lot in my freelance project, sewed two simple bunnies for Easter for my children, made some origami and had a good afternoon nap as well.

There is always so much to learn, it is impossible to know everything :) I actually think that I often spread myself too thinly, rather than focusing on one single skill until I become expert on that :(

Having a good day myself, nice walk in the morning, some time chatting with a friend, then some house work lunch and work on ForumCoin. It's good to be off for a long Easter weekend :)

Yes, there are always so much for us to learn, not only the technical stuffs, but also anything in our life. I used to wish I can just focus on one area, but my previous jobs didn't really allow us to do so, as it was a small company, we just had to do almost everything on our own. Now that I am a freelancer, I also can't stick in one area, but not exploring more, especially when there's request from potential clients. But, I just have to take my time to learn one by one slowly, as I have other higher priorities in my life.

It was again a good day for me, though I didn't work much. I went for my pregnancy check up, everything is well, both baby and I are healthy. Then, I had a discussion with my business partner, as we talked about a potential project. It was a great meet up, as we decided even though we don't get the project, we'll still develop it anyway, and make it our own product and sell the system to others. I also learned a couple of new things from my business partner. ;)

Hey, well today is Easter. Actually, I had a pretty boring day today just sat at home all day doing work. :| Easter can be fun if you have children or have family to have dinner with but since I don't have those two options I'm stuck at home doing work. I probably could've bought myself a dark chocolate candy bar to at least celebrate a little but I'm on a diet. :?

Actually you do not really require PHP for building Wordpress websites or to setup eCommerce website, just some understanding about wordpress would be enough. Wordpress has a great potential these days.
For android apps I guess you mainly require Java.

Though we do not celebrate Easter, I planned a small egg hunt for my children, just to have some fun.
I made some Easter crafts for them to hunt for, and hid them before they woke up. They were excited to find the hints and found the treasures as well. The children were playing with the crafts I made all day long.
I also wanted to bake some buns, but I was too tired, and I had a long afternoon nap.
I didn't do much besides that, but it was a good day for me, a relaxing day.

I thought I need to have at least some PHP knowledge in order set up the Wordpress sites. Thanks for telling me that! Perhaps I should just start with it, when I feel the need of learning PHP, then only I go and have a look.

I have learned Java in college, but didn't really use it for actual work. I'll try to look into that too. Thanks a lot for your information, these are useful for me.

You would only really need php knowledge if you want to make your own extensions/custom features. To install it and customize it, you typically will not need any coding knowledge whatsoever and you will soon go from nothing to Wordpress with extensions installed all within a few clicks. Wordpress is one of the most user friendly softwares I think when it comes to installation, adding extensions, altering settings and updating everything.

That said a little knowledge would always be beneficial incase anything goes wrong. Atleast with some knowledge you might understand what a certain error means and might allow you to pinpoint if is an extension causing the error or not.

I have had a busy day today. It is the first day of the Easter 4 day weekend that I have been off work. I went to see my nanna and set up a few things on her iPad and iPhone (old people and technology doesn't mix to well  ) and probably spent upwards of 3 hours talking with her. Also done some filing of paperwork that has filled up a draw and got to the point it takes about 2 minutes to close the draw without having some paper still hanging out or falling out the back because it was so full. Most of it I ended up shredding anyway. Now eating some chocolate and watching TV. That is how a Easter weekend should be

Thanks for telling me that. I am sure I will slowly learn PHP when I go into Wordpress, but at least for now I know I can just start to install and play with it without actually learning the language yet. Your information is so helpful to me, so I can spend some time just to set it up, without waiting for too long. Perhaps I will be able to get a project because of this shortly too.

Besides me working, my children enjoyed themselves playing together for the whole day too. It seems like they get along very well with each other even better now.

Are you in San Antonio for vacation or work? I hope you will find some time to visit some popular attractions and get your walk in soon. Meanwhile, it is time for you to relax and kick back a little.

I attended a small and short art session class yesterday. It was conducted by a friend, and I can bring my children along, so I decided to go and experience it.
It was pastel drawing, and it's said to be an art therapy as well. It was quite a good experience, though I think the fee was a bit too expensive, at least I learned something new.

After I came home, my son and I had a long nap, while my little girl was playing alone in the toy room.

It was a good experience for my children as well, it's the first time we attended a class together, though it's not really a formal one.

You can check out "pastel drawing" if you are interested. There are lots of tutorials online.

These are the pictures I painted with my fingers. We used the blade to make the dust from the pastels, then used the finger(s) to paint the drawings.

I also taught my children to do some morning yoga, and they enjoyed doing it. We did good night yoga as well.
