Re: Chat & What Did you do today? - How was your day?

This morning I cleaned my kitchen. It's not exciting, but it's nice to have it done. Now I'm eating some really nice chocolate that was a present from a friend.

I have to say though, last few years haven't been too bad, but this year has been brutal so far.

There's snow outside. In Austin, Texas that's rare. But a lot of the kids are happy. NO SCHOOL!!! YAY!! :D

It's another usual Thursday here. I am happy that the day is sunny, warm and pleasant. I am enjoying some sun while doing my online hustles.

I see that Southern states in the US are much colder than normal this winter and as @cmoneyspinner said some of them are experiencing snow, which is very rare for them.

We've just had a major storm here in Ireland, we were on red alert, which means shelter in place. Most sadly, one man was killed by a falling tree. There are extensive power, broadband and water outages throughout the country. There has also been lots of property damage and fallen trees. Hopefully, things will be back to normal soon.

Fingers crossed that things are back to normal soon.

Today I signed the contract to start my new job in a couple of weeks. :)

Apart from that I've just been doing many, many loads of washing while the weather is good for it to dry.

I started the day with three lessons, after which I nipped out to town to pick up some groceries. Now I'm just about to settle down in front of the telly to watch footie - with a lovely cuppa <3

@Fergal - We have wildfires in California and people have lost everything. At the same time, we have winter storms in other parts of the country and they are brutal. Austin, Texas had a dust of snow on the ground the other day and we're back to almost spring-like weather. I'm loving it!

Good luck with your new job Jem Smith, that's very exciting.

HI cmoneyspinner, yes what has happened in LA is very sad for all involved. Hopefully, things get resolved to some extent and people will not have to go through this again.

Yesterday, I prepared Crock-Pot chicken Parmesan for my roommate and myself for dinner. Yes, I cooked the chicken Parmesan for 5 hours so I could chew.

We have a ton of leftovers.

I doubt if my roommate is going to consume any leftovers. She rarely does.

So, for today, I preparing myself 2 different versions of chicken fried rice.

Even it was nice, sunny day I overslept most of it. I did some work on mobile app and workout for back. Now I am watching handball and drink beer.
