Today was not a good day.

3 women jumped myself at the cafe about my fear of dogs.

Then, I was told that maintenance is not going to assemble my new desk for a while.

I had 6 cookies and do not even care. Happy New Year. (Yes, I am being sarcastic)

Maintenance surprised myself today and assembled my new desk!

With my new chair, I can write!

However, tonight, I need to tidy up my bedroom office, which has been disorganized due to all of the moving.

Listening to a video of Mozart classical music while I work. They claim it's good for the brain. Better than TNT.

Today was a very busy day for me... lesson planning for the week and managed to submit two job applications. I need to earn more!! On top of that, I had a 17-page editing job that I completed. Well I finished the first round of editing, which is always the most heavy lifting of the process. So yeah, a very productive day,if I say so myself

Yesterday, I started a job search on Indeed.com. I love WN but the pay stinks.

Writing is what you enjoy and if you can get a job doing that, it's great. But if you get another job doing something else and it's a steady paycheck, take it.

Today, I have been drinking sweet tea and feel so much better! I read online that sweet tea is just as good as water. You may not think that sweet tea is, but it is! I'm proof!

My article about unwinding after work was published but my editor had her own typos. So, I am waiting for the typos to be fixed.

For dinner tonight, I am preparing mini pancakes for myself! Enough to feed an army!

I had a very bad nightmare this morning. I couldn't wait for my roommate to get home from work. When she arrived, I gave her the biggest hug.

A little while ago, my roommate and I were on our way home from the bank. She decided to take a side alley and we got stuck in a snow drift. You could just smell her tires.

Our winter in Austin, Texas, is mild by comparison to the rest of the state. I'm thankful that we haven't lost power. But people in other Texas cities are freezing their butts off!
