Working together

Postby Sydeli » 11 Apr 2017, 21:20

Helping other people can be fun! When you help others, you feel better about yourself. When you learn how to cooperate with your family and friends, you'll soon discover that it's more fun when everybody works together. Learn better ways to share and better ways to share and better ways to cooperate. It's the right thing to do.

It can be challenging sometimes. You have people from various backgrounds and personalities. One has to deal with that and learn how to work with everyone.

That's something I wish I could get people here to understand and appreciate! Sometimes, actually the majority of the time it feels like it's every man for themselves here. Everyone's looking out for themselves and even if they are able to help you, they'd rather not. There seems to be this idea that if they help you, you may well do much better than them, and of course, that's just not somthing they relish!

Yeah, working together and helping each other is really a good thing but it needs an equal cooperation from the person who you try to help. If you get a good community of people who are cooperative then everything will be extremely fun and easy to do. :)

The problem is when you help others, they either take your kindness for granted or have misgiving thpughts that you have motives behind your kindness.
A thankful word of appreciation is all we need but sometimes helping someone doesn't bring happiness when you are misunderstood

Working with others is fun and useful, but only if everybody reciprocitete. If you are the only one who put effort and time out there with no returns than it is not worth it.
It is a right thing to do with the right people to do it with.

Most of the jobs I did would always ask how I worked in a team and how I got on with people generally as it is important that you get on with colleagues in the work place. I always thought that getting to know people was every bit as imortant as actually learning the job.

You know what was really awesome when I worked at my last out of house job at the dollar store. When we had a super tight deadline, all of us on backshift would go to the aisle with the most boxes and help them first then go to our own. We would have to get the okay first but it was a nice way to do things. I remember one night I went in and the kitchen aisle had 7 carts of merchandise plus a half pallet to go out :O. At any job out of home I do I always try to bring that learning personality and helpful approach to the table, it helps make things run smoother.

Sadly, this seems to be more prevalent everywhere these days. Everyone seems to be out for #1. If only they would realize that they don't have to step on someone else to get where they want to be (and in turn that giving a hand up, doesn't mean someone will necessarily step on them to get there).

This thread reminds me of my teenage years when I have friends who were with me in anything I do. Yeah, working together makes the chore lighter and sometimes even enjoyable.

A lot of hands will do, that is why it is a big help if you are working as a team or as a group. I love working with people, you can simple know your strength if you are surrounded with people and you also learn from them. Different ideas all into one will make it more effective and creative.

The team work is fine as far people follow the best idea and not the 'best' person, still there are some who think they are always right and they always know the best, just because they want it that way, or because they are older, somebody told them this or that, so they are entitled to lead. I dislike people who force to lead. We don't need leaders, this is 21st century and we are not a heard of bovines.

Helping others and working together is great. It works best when you are helping people who are willing to be helped and who appreciate your help. Teamwork brings the best results and you get to learn a lot from each other.

We have been told over the years that if you want to go far walk with someone. This i have come to realize is very true. Having people around you will motivate you to do things that you never thought possible.

Working together in household chores could reduce the workload and quicken the tasks in a day. Provided everyone work in harmony

For years I seem to go against the flow and fought and argued with everyone.

Finally, after one particular event, I just made a decision that I would start being a solution to people instead of arguing and fighting with them.

That has been over 60 years ago and I am a much better person for being easy going than argumentative.

Working together is always a good thing especially if team is really focused to complete the task. I'm always willing to give a helping hand to others especially older people. Helping someone tends to speed things up a bit and with two head, idea will flow continiously.
