Domestic Holidays or International?

Postby JASPREET » 29 Nov 2024, 10:22

When you plan for a holiday do you plan to stay in your country or plan to go to a popular country?

I know it will be expensive to go on an International holiday but if you can plan well then it's good and not very expensive.

Going out of my country is extremely expensive, so I usually stay within my country to celebrate the holidays.

International travel from Australia is very expensive because you have to fly (well, technically you could take a boat, but that's very slow, and unusual) and it is a long flight to most places from here. I haven't been to another country in a long time (like 20 years).

It does cost a lot of money but I guess if we plan to go to Dubai then it won't cost so much

I don't have the finances to travel outside my country for a holiday. So, I stay put.

I don't think so if you have plans to go outside your country then Dubai can be managed

I get why people say it depends on salary, but for me Dubai wasn’t that expensive at all. I spent 3 days there, rented a BMW 3 Series for about 220 AED for two days, and did a desert trip with Dune Quest Tours to the dunes and camp for around 250 AED, prices were honestly lower than expected.

I want to go international, but my passport is not good because, you know, the reputation of my country. And the other choices for near countries I can explore are basically the same Islamic countries that are not liberal. So what's the point? So I will just probably go to Erbil. It's the most liberal place on my country.

As long as i can get a little break, I don't actually mind the type of holiday.
