Unfortunately, America has been like this for a long time. Even places that were relatively "safe" see an uptick in crime because nothing is being done. If there's no consequences for crimes, what's stopping people from committing them?

Crime in the US does seem to be on the rise, and the lack of media attention on certain incidents is troubling.

The crime problems in America have so many roots, it’s ridiculous. First, the government doesn’t give a damn about mental health. If people actually got proper mental health care, a lot fewer of them would be out committing crimes. Second, the U.S. has this “lonely man syndrome” thing going on. Yeah, it’s mental health again, but somehow it also turns some men into sexist, violent maniacs. Who knew loneliness could be so dangerous?

Then there’s school bullying. No one in school administrations seems to do anything about it, which is one reason why school shootings happen way too often. And of course, the gun laws are a total joke. Politicians love blaming video games, but guess what—tons of countries play the same games and don’t have school shootings. Why? Gun laws. Those countries actually make sure only mentally stable people get guns. Here, literally anyone can walk in and get one.

Add political division to the mix. Both major parties act like children ready to throw punches at anyone who disagrees. And the blame game is just sad. People blame immigrants, video games, or literally anything else except the real problems. Most politicians are old as dirt and clearly have no clue how the modern world works, so they just keep blaming the wrong stuff. Classic.

Trump's America just made a mistake again. ICE just arrested multiple Koreans who work for Hyundai and got them arrested and brought them to ICE headquarters. But here's the thing, they're not illegal aliens and Hyundai is a Korean company. But because Trump didn't apologize to South Korea, he just said that the South Koreans can stay after being traumatized from being arrested by ICE. The South Koreans decided to go home anyway. They're done with America.
