A friend delivered a crate of 40 water bottles today. She graciously carried my crate into the kitchen. She ungraciously commented about my kitchen. (I would never go into her house and comment)

Anyway, my roommate came downstairs and saw the crate. She could not understand why the friend carried the crate into our house and the roommate got upset!

What have I done wrong? All because I am weak and not strong?

It doesn't sound easy if you don't have a car. It would not be easy to carry that much water from the grocery store if you are walking. Does your roomate not like you having people visit the house?

My point is that if someone else is unreasonable and does not want you to have visitors to your home, you should not let that stop you from having visitors. It is understandable that the situation might be difficult, uncomfortable and stressful, but when possible it is generally not a good idea to let others determine how we live our own lives.

It might be easy for her but that doesn't mean it's easy for everyone. I can't lift a lot of weight these days since I got injured last year so I'd probably have trouble carrying them.

It might be easy for her but that doesn't mean it's easy for everyone. I can't lift a lot of weight these days since I got injured last year so I'd probably have trouble carrying them.
