Memories can be painful.

Postby usahacker » 31 May 2026, 17:46

Memories can be painful. They can seem overwhelming at times. They can make you forget that you ever felt good, believe the pain will never end, and think you’ll never get better, that your life is over and you can’t go on.

Not true. Painful memories are, of course, very hard at first, but as time goes by, the sharp edges will soften and you won’t think about them so much. And they won’t have the hold on you that you’re feeling right now.

Very true, but then again, it also depends on what you do during these time. Most people often drown themselves in those sad memories overtime, that it becomes something else, while some actually allow themselves heal with time.
