Hi From the West end of Tenessee

Postby davefullmer » 15 Oct 2015, 12:30

Hi, I'm Dave Fullmer and live about 60 miles east of the Mississippi River in Tennessee. I just joined and am getting acquainted with the forum. It has been some years since I did much forum browsing, but back the period between, 2003 and 2009 I did enjoy chatting on various forums.

Keep your head up and looking outside the box and you will find all kinds of opportunities that are much more lucrative than picking up pennies for posting chit-chat.

Ivyparkgirl, You are so right. Turns out that on the 3rd of October, I took my wife to the emergency room because she was out of breath and her heart felt to her it was racing. They kept her overnight, then sent her to a larger town for a heart cath. The tests did not show any proof of the problem being the heart and long story short after 2 months of not much improvement, we learned she tested for Lymes Disease.

Some of the symptoms of Lymes (caused by a tick bite) are very similar to heart symptoms and once she realized that the last 4 or 5 years of on and off symptoms were caused by Lymes the panic attacks ceased.

At any rate I forgot I had joined the forum and just today I tried to join again and found out I was already a member.

Finally, I am going to declare a senior moment and stick with that story :D We both are in our late 70's

Thanks, She is doing so much better that it is hard to believe. However, Lymes is something that lingers on and on. She has learned that she has to rest more and now when she gets a little fast heart flutter, she doesn't panic (which makes it worse) . Thanks for the concern.

But I have to tell you, that first month was a real concern in my mind. I kind of lost all focus on internet activities.

Thanks to everyone for such a warm welcome and the understanding.

By the way, I remember this all started on the 3rd of Oct because that was our 57th wedding anniversary. Probably the most memorable anniversary we ever had. Today, we both are very, very thankful for the Lord''s goodness to us.

He has a way of dishing it out to the good people, so keep up the good work.
