I prefer watching yt on my laptop. Besides having a bigger screen, the laptop has more processing power than the phone.

On my phone the app works better. It's a smoother experience than going to the website. With the laptop I go directly to the site as it works perfectly fine this way. I really don't like the idea of having too many unnecessary apps.

I usually don't stream YouTube on any other device.
