The currency unit of the Ethereum platform is called ether. It is traded on cryptocurrency exchanges like any other cryptocurrency.

What's with the price rise of the currency?!

Its very volatile at the moment and in couple of month the price has come up to around 15$ from 1$ which has made the currency popular and all are speculating for more rise like bitcoins.
