I think they just want more subscribbers.

It is not by google, google itself is not a sponsor or affiliated in any way with this.As they themself say.
The site has actually no reason to scam IMO, though it is their only giveaway that I'm aware off.
Hope they give what they promise, though considering their subscriber base I'm pretty positive someone will get it.
