For a Whole year this guy is not a part of the consumer rat race. He will not be affected by inflation and bad economy because he grows and forages his own food. His backyard is a complete food forest. He also made a deal with his neighbors and they allowed him to use their lawns into food gardens, so every street on his village is a food source for him. If he craves meat, he catches fish in the ocean or harvest deers. He is top level homesteader. Most likely his salary goes to electric bills,taxes and water bills only. He have a lot of extra money because he doesn't buy food anymore. This what you call financial freedom. If he will have solar panels and electric car, he will be completely free. He even grows his own medicines.

There are many people in India who almost grow all the needed food in the agricultural fields and also in the special gardens. For the purpose of the milk they depend on the daily cattle and similarly for meat and eggs they depend on the hens/chick they rear! These people are very happy lot close to the nature as they use organic manuring too to have healthy food!

He lives in Florida where there is an infestation of invasive animals like Iguanas, Snakehead fishes, tilapia, Tegu and Muscovy ducks. These animals are invasive and harmful to local ecosystem but also edible. He can simply hunt these animals for free food. He can invest his salary for health care, insurance and Netflix subscriptions.

This reminds me of a family friend who was granted by the government a homestead of 24 hectares. I was 12 when my father brought me along to visit the homestead which took us 4 hours of walk from the town proper. It was like paradise because they have all what they need to live - meat from wild boar and deer, vegetables all around, fruit trees all around and the clear water from the stream coming from the mountain.

If you watched the video he have multiple vegetable gardens and other source of food. Also florida is filled with invasive yet edible animals and fishes.So he have free meat too. He also don't need shampoo because he is bald.

He makes his own soap from potash and oils from his coconuts. Clothes, he didnt by new ones, he just use his old ones.

Everyone spends a lot of money on food, we only realize how much it costs when we don't have the goods and we need to buy them. My parents grow many vegetables and we have some fruit trees, we also have chickens and despite we don't kill them for the meat, they provide us with enough eggs, so we don't need to buy it.
Our farm is big enough to have beans and potatoes and sweet potatoes too.

He ask permission to his neighbors to use their backyards as his garden, in exchange they will share the harvest. All his neighbors agreed to turn their lawns into his garden so they will get free veggies.

This is one guy i would ask God to grant me a wish to meet him wow this is good stuff! Having everything in my reach how cool is that. I would also love to have a farm house where i can get all my food. cows for milk, goats, turkey, chicken, pigs for meat, herbs and spices for cooking, its amazing.
