I have not two but three different bank accounts. This is what i also do. I have a separate Saving account form my general account. Then i also have a business account where most of the profits i make from my business goes to. Then i have another Saving account that i only use from when things are pretty bad. At the moment this particular account is empty so i am pretty sure you can guess things are not all that great 🤣

Very good idea! I too have three separate accounts. One current and two savings. One is a GBP savings account and the other is USD. I just feel I'd be wasting my time saving in the local currency. If I could generate more money, I'd also have a local currency one for a rainy day.

Saving account should be separate as when it remain same for daily use then one can't save money, it remain near to empty always so no use to have a saving account.

A good idea so that we are not tempted to frequently take cash and buy things we don't need. I also don't have an ATM, I usually use the services of a bank agent to withdraw money for a small fee. This little fee is what makes me reconsider about taking money back and forth. LOL
