Save money on concert tickets

Postby augusta » 12 Apr 2023, 23:42

What's life without fun days , you can have your fun while still saving money . You can save money on your concert tickets by taking advantage of the pre sales price. Some organizers sell their tickets cheaper before making it public. You can buy the ticket during the pre-sale period at a cheaper rate before it's made public to save money. Again, you can ditch buying the VIP tickets that cost more to save. money. After all you would still get into the concert hall it is just the location where you would be seated that matters. Take a back seat and pay less and money is saved. Better still you tried to win a free ticket maybe over the radio ahen the promo for the concerts start You just tune in to participate during their airing to part and win a free ticket to the concert if any and money is saved.

Do you have any suggestions about how to do that, I mean where can we hear about and buy tickets at the reduced price?

If you know the organizers you can contact them before the start selling the tickets to the public for a reduced price. You can even buy more from them for a resale at a profit when they start making their sales public at the same public price.

Here if we buy tickets online in advance it is possible to get some discounts, if you go in a group even better because sometimes there is a free ticket if you buy several.

There is nothing that would make me buy a VIP ticket for any concert. If I am even gifted, I would sell it. We have the same fun apart from the special seats.

There are ticket billion apps in my country that host tickets for major events. They offer a 5% discount when you book with them. I usually take advantage of it to save on concert tickets.

What is so hilarious about this topic is that my roommate is on her way to a concert as we speak!

2 evenings ago, she was the right caller on a radio station to win 2 concert tickets to a city orchestra symphony concert.

She decided to take her boyfriend.

Now, she wants to win tickets to Christmas in New York.

The radio station has created a monster!

Let her have her fun and not pay for it. Everyone wants to enjoy some freebies. She has to get free concert tickets for Christmas and easter.

Often the pre-sales are for people who are part of the band's official fan club, which you have to pay to join, or for people who hold a credit card from a certain bank. I haven't found that they actually save any money, you're just possibly more likely to get a ticket with a seat you prefer than the general public.

Most concerts have a discount for students and seniors in my country. I make sure to attend every concert with my student's identity card to take advantage of those discounts.

Some bands actually offer ticket pre sales to the general public to help raise money for the concert. And the tickets are always a bargain on pre sale.

I did make use of student discount on movie tickets back in the days. It is a great way to save on entertainment.

I agree with you on the buying of the normal tickets than the most expensive VIP tickets for money saving. I sometimes apply that one.

Those VIP tickets are overpriced. It is just a status thing for show off. People buy the VIP tickets to show off but not me. I stick to the regular table.

I did once see a poster for a concert where they were offering 2 tickets for the price of one... but I think that had more to do with the fact that no one was interested in buying tickets. The headliner had some recent controversy where they had fired their lead singer and replaced him, and people preferred the old singer. I think they were starting to get desperate to get any people in the seats at all.

That's a different ball game entirely. There are situations where event organizers do like one month ticket pre sale at a discounted rate to raise funds for the organization of the events. One can buy even VIP tickets at that point at almost half price.

Sometimes too, ticket prices are lowered just few hours to the start of the concert. Buying concerts tickets very late can help you save too.
