You can save even more if you eat them raw and it's healthier too. Cooking loses nutrients.

  There is always a way to save even more

Personally I have never tried this technique but it makes some sense, even though I think the savings will be only a few cents, everything adds up, right?

I actually didn't know about this, but then, I love cutting my veggies in smaller pieces and that's not because of the time it takes or so but I like it that way, makes it look nice.

But it will be saving more money and even your health if you eat your veggies raw. They are nutritional

But there are some foods that cannot be consumed raw, for example: meat, fish, chicken, shrimp, etc. LOL For some types of vegetables, I really like to eat them raw, for example: Lettuce, cabbage, carrots, tomatoes, etc. :D

It depends. Some nutrients are easier to absorb from cooked food than raw.

And still there are some vegetables that can't be consumed raw like the leafy green vegetables which may not taste really good when eaten

It's true, like cassava leaves, papaya leaves, kale, spinach, mustard greens, etc. I can't eat them raw, I'll be like a goat eating grass if it's like that. LOL

Right form time we have always been cutting our vegetables small, over here it's pretty rare to find people cutting their vegetables big.

To a reasonable extent, this is true that cutting not just your veggies but most food items that are cutable wouid save you cooking gas because the food would cook faster.

There are exceptions to every situation, raw fish and shrimp are delicious in Sushi.
