Have a modest wedding ceremony to save costs.

Postby King Belieal » 08 Nov 2023, 19:50

This is specially for ladies who have been dreaming about their big day. It is a one day ceremony. You can have a modest wedding with just 20 guests than making it open for all. You would have a wedding and still not break the bank. What do you think?

I always tell people that wedding ceremonies is not really about how big it is, it is about the moment. Do it little as times are hard so you can save money.

People should learn to do things within their financial reach. Someone should do a kind of wedding he or she can afford.

Here in subcontinent, we are bound to spend much more money on wedding ceremony, it is somewhat stigma on our society, something which we started by ourselves, so we need to do this in modest expenses to save a lot of money.

The very reason that some people are not married is cost of wedding. And some ladies are hell bent on oppressing other ladies that day with a huge wedding. Don't forget that kids would be coming and you need to save.

I was quite lucky when I got married, my parents and my husband's parents paid for everything. In some years we will celebrate 25 years of marriage, and we still don't know if we will have a big party with family and friends or if we will have a dream trip but I want the last one

The very reason I have a strain with my girlfriend now is that she wants a big wedding while I don't think it is necessary. I would rather invest the money in a business.

That is how some people take huge debts to marry. And end up living the rest of the marriage life with regrets.

Low cost weddings lift the financial burden off newly married couples having to pay debts and so on.

It doesn't make any sense to do a wedding you can't afford. It should be more about the marriage and not the wedding.

We had a shoe string wedding because while we wanted to get married, we simply couldn't afford a lot of things. You say it's for a wedding, and the price shoots up! My dress cost a modest £100 and wasn't even a wedding gown. It was an evening dress that fit the bill, it was on sale, it was the last one and was exactly my size! We got our flowers and cakes from marks and Spencer and for food, our guests nibbled on finger foods. Everyone said it was brilliant. We were happy with how it turned out. However, I'd go big if we had deep pockets

I still think $100 for a wedding dress was too muche. Unless of course, you can wear it again.

I'm all about eloping and then having a party with friends later to celebrate. Going into debt to start my life with someone doesn't seem like an ideal beginning.

It is never an ideal beginning at all. People don't understand that financial problems like debts can choke a marriage so bad.
