I saw the video, it is indeed the most sustainable way to live, in a community with nature and with what surrounds us but personally, I think I wouldn't be capable of living like that. What confuses me most is the bathroom and the shower, it too much for me.

I think the only aspect of his lifestyle I want to copy is his sustainable food system. I wont explore the compost bathroom and rainwater shower. I am a homesteader but I am not a hippie.

A sustainable food system is, in fact, the good thing we can learn from him, the composts from bathroom is too disgusting.

I believe he doesn't, since I cut junk food I no longer have cravings for it. Nowadays I can't understand how I ate that food.

Plant edible trees aka trees with edible leaves on your backyard, they are more useful than a cabbage or a spinach because its perennial.

Moringa is one example The leaves are considered vegetable and it is also a common ingredient in vegetable dishes. The fruits are also edible and one of my favorites in a soup dish.

I'm working forward to be spending $0 on a food also very soon because I just invest on agriculture where planted vegetables, cassava, papers... I know by the time everything set up I will have freedom from spend on food.

A good amount of expenditure in any family goes to buying grocery and food. If one can grow their own food, they can save a lot. But I will not say that he spends nothing. Because one needs to spend a little to grow their food. At least in the beginning, you need to buy equipments and seeds etc. Later you can have your own seeds from previous crops and manure making compost from your kitchen waste. Farming requires a lot of time, effort and patience. I wonder how can one keep up with a regular job along with that. Yes, one can think of converting farming into his business.

I'm already in the same way, because I'm a farmer. Though, my farm is not big as that because I just started it but I will expand it more because I still have many things to plant.

He explained it on his video, It takes two years of preparation since he need to have a sustainable Garden first. He also hunts animals and catches fish. Less people will die of starvation if oceans and rivers are clean

zero money on food is great. I wish I could this, because food is such a waste of money. I really do like not having to pay for food. I use free gift cards to not waste money on food
