Re: Save money buying old models items

The only thing I would buy it's old model is cars. It is always cheaper. Beyond that, buying old models isn't worth the stress and the savings.

Old model elwcttobnifed would cost you more in the long run because they consume electricity like mad.

But a lot of old model items are less costly unlike the new models. You would still save money this way.

This way you won't be able to enjoy the latest technology and if you are fine then you can save money

I don't think I would be able to settle for a much older model. Maybe a model that is slightly older would make me not to miss out much and still save money.

I took an iPhone 8 to compare with an iPhone 15. No much differences in basic operations. And the iphone 8 is just $200. Would rather go for that and save costs than go for iphone 15.

Most of the upgrades you see are just new designs with very little changes in features.

Quite true for some item's and brands. It is just left for you to evaluate the changes in the upgrade and decide if it's worth spending on.

l agree with you on that. I have even learned that most old model items are more efficient and durable than the new ones.

Not really all. You can't compare the power consumption of an older TV to a a Smart TV of today. But if you can't afford the latest model, you can make do of the year old model. Gets the job done basically instead of you being in debts.

If you don't mind buying old model of smartphone and TV and other appliances then you'll save a lot of money but then you cannot expect all new features and latest technology in the device

Have you considered that an old model TV would not be power efficient? For smartphones, you wouldn't be able to access some useful apps.

If it is not a distant older model, it's fine. I won't buy an old model of 10 years back no matter how desperate I want it and how cheap it might be.

It makes sense to use this tip and save money because you are still going for good branded products and getting these at lower price, the only thing is those products are not loaded with latest technology

If old models items are working perfectly and their prices are low because these are old then nothing wrong to purchase these items. On the other hand if the items are old and their performance are not UpTo level then in long run it may causes further loss.

You have a point there but in some cases buying the newer models would be better, especially if the newer one has what you need. Or in a situation where it's something you need to make use urgently, there would be no time to wait for a new model to come out. Then again these days having a new model does not really mean the old one would reduce in price.

This is a direct trade off between latest technology and cost. People's priorities would determine which one they would go for. I would go for latest technology though

It is okay if you are on a budget. But if you have money, go for a model that is slightly close to the times. It might not be the latest. I would rather save up and get a device that uses Android 10 than one that uses Android 5.

That lack of latest technology might be the reason you would not get maximum use of that product ir gadget. Especially if it's a product that helps your work or money making venture.
