Yes, of course! In my case, I use 2 credit cards to get more interest through investments, in addition to seeing clearly how much my couple is spending. Explaining better: my credit cards cost zero. No annuity, no monthly fees. As I can pay what I purchase only later, after a month, I don't need to withdraw investment to buy food, medicines and other medical cares (my circumstances are very curious: as my income from my business is not enough, my couple needs my investments to make ends meet), not until they generate interests and return to my currency account after their deadline. It's very better since I'm using credit cards, but I understand my situation is very uncommon and other people, instead, need to get rid of their credit cards to save money.

I dissagree completely. It would cost me Thousands of Dollars to get rid of my Credit Cards. I am sure like most things on this Forum it depends on what Country you live in, but in the Uniited States of America they are a blessing many times over.

I haven't really done any grocery-shopping since before the COVID-19 pandemic; now I just tell my roommate 'we need (this or that or the other),' and she picks it up along with her purchases at the store ... never 'do we have enough money for that?'

It's kinda like STAR TREK dreamed the world would be---as long as you've got a steady-paying job, you can purchase all you NEED on credit, and trust that you'll repay your debts eventually.

I do use credit card for cash back and rewards. I don't need to pay annual fee for my credit card, and I always pay my credit card bill on time so that I don't have to pay for interest or penalty. I have confidence that I have self discipline to control my spending even with the use of credit card.

I have a financial discipline..I never go for impulsive shopping as I try to stick to my budget all the time. I prefer credit card over cash. I enjoy all the benefits that I get. Also, I keep collecting credit card points that I can encash for various gifts and other things. Last time to our vacation, husband and I used all our credit points to purchase our air tickets.

Even better that should be, as long as you have at least the total amount you are going to spend in a month stored in a savings account to pay your credit card bills from.

I think it's the same thing if you get your pay through the bank. You would still need to be charged to withdraw the cash unless the fact that credit cards spending carries interest.

In my country, we don't have credit cards mainstream. It's only debit cards and I am grateful for that because it helps us stay out of credit card debts.
