It's a great thing to see the kids being happy and playing with the toys that they need to play with.

There are simple toys one can buy to give fun time to the kids but not iPads that they would break the screen and you need to replace.

Do you know that just the idea of a family picnic is enough for the kids. It doesn't cost much to set up a family picnic.

Kids should be maintained properly and if you are unable to keep your kids well behaved then you need to spend a lot of money for it so we should try and keep kids under control

These festive period, a lot of families would definitely over spend for the kids. Though it is not a bad thing but they should also remember that there would be other things to sort out after the festivals.

Things are just things, when kids grow up they don't remember the expensive toys, they remember the time we spent with them, the games we played and the attention we gave them. Being present in their lives is the best gift we can give to our kids.

Very true, let's try to build more memories with them and also create bonds

We are always tempted to want to give the kids best of fun. And we usually end up overspending especially in this season. We should approach it with caution.

You can buy a protective case for a tablet to shield it from being dropped. That's a good idea for adults too, not just kids. I'm not saying kids need an iPad, just that they can have one and not break it (depending on their age anyway).

Where can you get a low end smartphone that costs $18? Even secondhand they're a lot more expensive than that here.

I don't know what you mean by caution here. If it means you need to go all out for the kids this period, it won't be waste. This season only comes once a year.

Kids are kids they will demand what they see their friends having or liking but we need to make them understand properly so they don't turn rebelious
