You need to be educated about water toxicity and the danger of even death if you drink too much water. Study this website for details:
https://www.healthline.com/health/overhydrationWay back in my own past, I used to drink a variety of sodas as my primary form of beverages. I also enjoy just plain water. I don't recall any particular reason, but I eventually stopped drinking all sodas and have been drinking water more than anything else for years. It has probably been more than 30 years since I had any soda.
I don't just guzzle it for the sake of drinking something, but I drink water when I'm thirsty. I might have a cup of coffee every once in awhile and enjoy orange juice and apple cider, but almost never anything else. Drink something when your body tells you that you are thirsty but don't over do it.
Funny thing, someone recently handed me a can of Pepsi, which I recall I used to really enjoy. I took a couple of sips and gagged. It was terrible. I'm glad I enjoy water more than anything else. It is so much better and so much cheaper.
