It is right as if women buy required makeup items then they will save a lot of money. I listen most of them as they were saying that mostly item we use are useless and we are spending our money without any specific reason.

If ladies want to save money with make up, they can register for free samples pages on facebook. Many make up companies gives away free samples even a whole palette. I saw a woman who loves make up and hasn't buy 1 one for 7 years. She just get free samples from facebook.

I wear makeup when I'm teaching and will always do. At the weekend when I'm working at the radio station, because I work behind the scenes, I let my skin breathe. I have mentioned here before that I have always had skin issues - acne and brown patches, super sensitive skin etc for the longest time. Over the years, that's given me a complex. There was even a point where I couldn't look at myself in the mirror and not want to cry. I felt ugly despite my husband and loved ones telling me I was pretty. But in my heart, I thought; they love me, of course, they'll tell me I'm beautiful.

I mean it got so ridiculous that if I heard a knock, I'd run to my bedroom and put some makeup on. Just to run a few errands in town, I had to have makeup on. Long story short, my husband finally put his foot down and convinced me to see a dermatologist and get my skin sorted once and for all. That was at the height of COVID. This is the third year and I'm still having treatments, which are paying HUGE dividends. And only now am I confident enough to go anywhere barefaced.

What I'm trying to say is that while NOT buying makeup may save you money, some ladies have very deep seated emotional and psychological issues for which they wear makeup. I've been there, and never want to question any woman's choice. If it makes them happy and they are not hurting anyone, fair play to them!

Many ladies/females do like to buy so much of makeup stuff and we all know how expensive it is and is a reality that too much makeup won't help you look good so better to buy the basic things and save money and use the money for the things that are most important.

It's not necessarily that women WANT to buy a lot of makeup, but rather than wearing makeup is expected of us. If we don't wear it, people are likely to make rude comments, and it's actually required in many workplaces.

Even where it is not strictly necessary, if a woman wants a new shade of eyeshadow or whatever because she likes the colour, that's up to her. It's annoying when people, especially men, assume that what women wear is always for other people, not themselves.

Or how to repair a broken eyeshadow? )." This actually helps someone save money on something they feel is important to buy.

There is one reason why the beauty is the highest paying industry as at now. I just think people should not overspend on it. Ladies in my country spend $20 for a makeup session for an event that lasts up to two hours.

I actually stopped using makeup a while back. I invest now in natural clensers. Plus the way the economy is aint nobody has time to buy make up. Most people love my natural looks.
I'd rather pay for a makeup makeover when attending a formal get together or some special meeting.

Not all of them but mostly they will listen from one ear and blow it from other. They'll do what they want to do, but it is fact that some ladies spend a lot of extra money in their makeup items.
