Yesh you can turn things around in your bathroom and make it as exquisite as possible to your delight to save money
What you just need to switch is the ambience which should not cost more than $8 to turn around.

I get the concept but I would rather do a cheap hotel of $10 for my wedding night.

I would see how I can use this to make money. Offering couples a low cost but comfortable honeymoon accomodation. It would just require a touch of maintenance on the room and decor.

I think all the expenses in marrying should be enough for someone to take this simple measure to curtail further spending post marriage ceremony.

This comment is “sort of” related.

Some people needed to earn extra money so they started renting out their backyard pool.

Instead of going to a public pool or the beach, people would reserve the pool for a few hours and pay a small charge.

Proves I'm not a visionary. I would have thought that the income idea would fail.

But then … some people thought selling bottled water was a silly idea.

Today, it's a global industry, and water is sold by the same companies that sell sugary soda.

Anyway! If you have a backyard pool, you might be able to earn enough money to go on a second honeymoon. :D

This took me to a memory My niece and I were in charge of doing up the bedroom in the bride' s house. We did a beautiful job but kept the taps open as at the time we were there there was no water.

When the couple arrived the house was flooded and cleaning the house is how they spent their wedding night :D

I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with strangers staying on my house.

A tidy, organised room feels more luxurious and peaceful. Put away laundry, clear surfaces, and make the bed perfectly.

Some people rent rooms to strangers. Rent for apartments is very expensive. My son lived in a “shared” environment. The owner was renting out rooms. My son didn't like it. The other renters were noisy and rude. He had to share the kitchen and the bathroom. I was glad when he was able to move out.

Yea. Some income generating ideas just need one to show the initiative. Customers then flock in.

In the USA, with all of these gun-toting clowns, I'm not keen on letting anybody near where I live. I'll have to think of another way to generate income.
