The challenge with whatsapp calls is that sometimes it is not efficient because of network issues.

I do experience that too but then still can't be compared with phone calls, ,WhatsApp calls encourages long discussions .

I mean we have very chaep plan for internet, and with it phone call, sms service are provided free of cost.

The cheapest calls I have made on my phone are the video calls on WhatsApp and IMO. They are relatively cheaper than the normal calls.

WhatsApp calls on a 4G phone is as clear as making a normal phone call.
