This is a good way to save on gas as you would get your food ready as well in no time
And you quench the hunger quickly too. It is a good measure for any food in the pea family because they are always hard and waste lots of gas.

Yes I'm trying mine tomorrow morning. I want to soak my beans for hours and see if it would be as soft as I want.

The longer you soak the beans, the softer it gets. Just soak it for at least five hours. It should bw soft enough ro save you gas.

We follow the practice to soak these overnight so it's around 8-9 hours

In these days and times, cooking beans without soaking it first would just finish your gas quickly if you eat beans often.

Try mine by weekend but my beans wasn't that really soft. I might try this weekend again with bigger beans to see if it works better with them

It is not expected to be completely soft. It would be softer enough to save you time when cooking. If you soaked overnight, I believe you spent less time cooking it. That means less gas spent.
