Electric stove would be the cheapest option in my country if you aren't being billed electricity using a prepaid meter. Estimated billing with electric stoves is far cheaper than prepaid meter.JASPREET wrote:We use Gas stove but I am planning to go for Electric stove or induction
Unfortunately, one can't get free firewood in the city unless from construction sites and it's limited in supply. However, my parents live close to a timber market and saw mille, and they find firewood free over there. It makes sense when you don't have to buy the firewood.astutimeliana723 wrote:nela13 wrote:augusta wrote:I go with using gas, it is a lot cheaper for me and very much cheaper than using stove or firewood
In my case my parents have some woods so wood to use in the firewood is free for us.
That's right, I was like that when I lived in the village. We can get a lot of firewood for free from the garden, sometimes building debris such as bamboo, wood, which we don't use can be used as firewood also for free.
The smoke from firewood is too much and even I can't stand it. It is just laborious to find the wood as you might have to move from place to place if you don't want to buy.augusta wrote:Firewood would have been best for me to save money now but I can't stand smoke. I'm going for gas though it is expensive.
. I would advise you stick to the gas stove. Cooking with electric stove is more expensive as the cooker drags much electricity.MattTolentino02 wrote:We are using gas stove right now but I'd be very interested in trying out an electric stove.
